May the powers that be forgive my off-topic remark, and I promise to
remain silent forevermore, but Perl is only one of the most powerful,
flexible and expressive programming languages in the world. Not to
mention one of the most readable, when written well.

    condemn_to_using_java($wayward_soul) if $particularly_non_repentent;
}
