original modification date of files |

Hello 2 all
I'd like to know if following is normal behaviour or could be worked around:
After I imported my original sources of a project to a CVS-pserver and
checking out these files I was surprised that the
modification date (meaning the timestamp of every file i imported) is lost!?
Am I able to solve this problem?
(CVS-Client V1.11 on OpenVMS, CVS-Pserver latest version on WinNT)
In hope of helpful replies...
