Solaris 2.8 install

Hello all,
  I am attempting to install CVS 1.11-1p1 on a sparc running a new clean
copy of Solaris 8.  Ideally I would like to compile the source and install,
however in my attempts to do this I have consistently run into the same
error during the make,  krb5.h is not found.  Is there anyway to have the
build not use krb5.h, or am I just better off just installing the binaries?
