Hi,It is probably because of location of your CVSPASS file.Start using the new cvspass task in Ant.I Had a similar problem ...initially but now I have sorted it out. This new task is only present in the Ant 1.4 alpha so you will need to get the relevant ant class file from the new Ant.jar. USe it in conjunction with the alreay present cvs task ...read thru each one of them carefully and also thru teh fact that both the WinCVS as well as the CVSpass should be referring the same cvspass file which should contain the password as an encrypted string. You can change the places where both pick up the cvspass by GUI(in WinCVS-aDMIN) and as an attribute (CVSPASS task)
IN case you are still 0 on that one ... I shall send you a copy of my build file ...and the entry in WInCVS admin.
I would also suggest that you ask such questions in teh Ant list ...This CVS list is messed up I had posted a similar question earlier ...still waiting for an answer.

From: Cornellious Mann <address@hidden> To: address@hidden Subject: ANT and CVS Date: Fri, 3 Aug 2001 07:33:10 -0700 (PDT) I am using Apache Ant to process my CVS commands. Ant works great and I am having no problems. I would actually recommend it to anyone working in a Java/Open Source environment. The problem I am having is that I would like to use both Ant and also use WinCVS to access CVS files. When I check out files using Ant, WinCVS has problems working with those files. I keep getting the error "no such host c". Has anyone tried to do this? Does WinCVS do anything special, so in order to work with files in WinCVS, the files have to be checked out using WinCVS? Thanks for any help. Cornellious Mann ===== Regards, Cornellious Mann __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Make international calls for as low as $.04/minute with Yahoo!
