Sure.  I was assuming that if he is attempting to connect to an "already
established and working repository", that he has been using some form of CVS
client for some time, which would seem to suggest that the inetd settings
are already correct, and that the problem lies on the client rather than the
server.  This is why I suggested that perhaps the authentication method in
WinCVS was incorrect.  But if my assumption is wrong, and this is the very
first attempt at connecting to the CVS server from a remote computer, then
indeed, inetd may be incorrectly configured.
