So would I.

There are, I believe, three Mac clients, and AFAICT none of them
are "command-line" in the usual sense. MacCVS, the one I've
decided to go with, does allow a command line to be typed into
a dialog window. Since Macs do not have a system command line,
I don't know what else you would be referring to.

I'm working on that, but haven't gotten anywhere yet. There is
also a lack of Mac SSH free software, NiftyTelnet and MacSSH
being the only ones I know about. Both of these use SSH 2,
whereas Sourceforge says they only use SSH 1, so I have a bad
feeling about being able to use Sourceforge....

The problem would be getting the client to use ssh, and the
MacCVS method selection is in a pop-up menu.

So, you can check out the Mac clients on cvshome.com and MacSSH
on macssh.com. The config instructions for MacSSH include
how to do a tunnel, but I haven't set it up yet.
