I am working on a Windows 95 local server.
I have checked out, added a regular module definition and committed back the
modules file but CVS continues to say that the module I look for does not
exist.
I have modified in the same way the cvswrappers file specifing that *.exe
have to be treated with the -k 'b' flag but from the log I can see that it
has not worked.
In the CVSROOT directory I can see same strange files such as:

.#modules
.#cvswrappers

is this correct?

What is happening?
It seems like CVS is using a different copy of the file not updated.
