Commit not getting it

Hi everyone,

This question should be easy.

I'm trying to commit a file but commit simply doesn't get it (and yes, I'm 
absolutely sure that the file has been changed, I checked numerous times 
and did a lot of testing). Here are the symptoms:

        address@hidden Garcon]$ cvs commit Garcon.pm
        address@hidden Garcon]$

That's it. Nothing. No waiting time. The only thing I can think of that 
could be the cause is that Garcon.pm is a symlink to another file. But it 
has always been like that and it worked fine. And I have other files that 
are symlinks and they are handled fine.

Any kind soul having some suggestion about diagnostic tests or simply a 
direct answer?
