Hi Steve,
I usually just archive the original files and
put them away somewhere before I begin working
on the CVS version.
If you need to keep working on the original version,
just rename the directory and do a fresh checkout.
This way you are sure that what you have in CVS is
what you want, and there isn't anything you forgot to
check in / didn't mean to check in.
