WinCVS seems unable to checkout stuff from cvs into a directory which
already exists.
In the following example c:\development\components\live already exists on
my NT disk.
cvs checkout -P development/components/live (in directory C:\)
cvs checkout: in directory development:
cvs checkout: cannot open CVS/Entries for reading: No such file or
directory
cvs [checkout aborted]: cannot open CVS/Entries.Static: No such file or
directory
*****CVS exited normally with code 1*****
However, if I specify the target directory as follows
cvs checkout -P development/components/live (in directory C:
\development\components\live)
cvs server: Updating development/components/live
U development/components/live/ACSTypes.pas
U development/components/live/ATAbout.dfm
Loads more stuff
*****CVS exited normally with code 0*****
but now my components are in c:
\development\components\live\development\components\live which is not
where I want them.
Am I doing anything wrong ?
Andy.
