cvsnt on NT server

Hi,
we are running cvs on an NT server.
Logon with wincvs works well in pserver mode and also with ntserver mode.
No I tryed to use the workbench tools in the new IBM application developer
to connect to cvs (in pserver mode).
But the connection is refused and on the server there an dr.watson error
accures.
When I do the same with the cvs2vaj (sourceforge) plugin for Visual Age the
same thing is happening.

I wonder couse this both are working when I use another cvs repository
installed on an NT workstation (not server).

Are there such problems known with running cvsnt on NT server (instead of
workstation)?
Why is this all working with wincvs as client?

I would really appreciate some suggestions!
