I took the line "If a match is found, then the remainder of the line is
a filter program that should expect log information on its standard
input." from http://www.cvshome.org/docs/manual/cvs_18.html#SEC169 and
applied it only to the following discussion of %{sVv} variables which
come in as @ARGV to Perl.
I didn't hear that I should also be looking at <STDIN> - sorry. Things
look much better after a few brief attempts with <STDIN>.
