The latest version of this files as seen is 1.3 and the state is not
dead. I believe every file in Attic should have the state "dead". If the
state is not dead, it should be in the repository not in the Attic
directory.
I am trying to understand what could have caused this behaviour and what
would be the best way to correct this....
I realized this when I did an update with -D "date". This file is not
retrieved during an update of the "HEAD" (i believe this gives
everything in the repository without checking anything) But it is
retreived with the -D "date" command. (because i believe cvs goes thru
ALL (rep+attic) to figure which files were alive at "DATE" and updates
this file.
"DATE" given in cvs update -D "DATE" is later than 2001.10.18.
The server is accessed thru :pserver method. The server is running cvs
1.11 on SunOS 5.7
arcin uses Linux : 1.11.1p1
adrian uses WinCVS on NT. (1.2)
