I suspect nobody's answering because nobody *has* an answer...
For starters:
- Which versions of CVS -- client and server?
- What O/S's?
- Does it happen only with that particular file? All files in
that directory? All files in that sandbox? All .java files?
- Can you do other cvs operations on Main.java (e.g. update,
tag, stat, log) or do they die too?
Hint: You're committing .java files, so you're obviously a
programmer. Give us the kind of bug report you'd want to receive
from a user of your application.

The world has been attacked. The world must respond ... [but] we must
be guided by a commitment to do what works in the long run, not by what
makes us feel better in the short run.
