I want to control which users can
apply/delete/move certain specific tags in
my repository. For example, if I have a tag identifying a release,
"REL_1_1", I don't want a developer to be able to move or delete the
tag.
Is there a way to do this in CVS? I have looked into using the taginfo
file
to run a script, but I believe that the only information this script would
have access to is the tagname, operation, repository, and filename/revision
pairs. Any suggestions or links to examples/references (of this specific
task or of general "permissions management" in CVS) would be greatly
appreciated!!
