Actually, it would totally depending on the network connection. Currently, I 
can copy around 700 Megs over my LAN in around 10-15 minutes. 

Also, one possible solution if it is a network issue is to forgo the CVS server 
(in this instance) and try having the repository on the local machine and use 
the repository via direct access.

Can anyone suggest a way of copying very big, big files across a network
without using a lot of time?
