cannot checkout CVSROOT

hi all,

I'am a cvs-nt-server 1.11.1.2 and want to checkout the CVSROOT-modul with WINCVS1.2 (cvs 1.11) and get the following errormessage :

        *****CVS exited normally with code 1*****

        cvs [checkout aborted]: recv() from server cvstest: EOF

And on the Server I get the following message:

        The instruction at 0x77fc603d referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be written.

Whats wrong here? Is it a bug?
