No, the problem is that you won't accept the answer to your question and
keep asking it in hopes of getting a different answer. There isn't one.
File revision numbers are for CVS's internal use only. If you don't
like them, tough; they're not for you, so you don't get a say. If you
want your own version numbers, then put them in tags.
