That is most certainly B.S. of the worst kind.
Of course you can use your computer for the advanced planning though.

This is the _ideal_ time to very carefully think about how best to
manage the project with a tool like CVS. Blindly importing an existing
project directly into CVS is certainly asking for trouble! (esp. if you
use "cvs import"! ;-)
