What do you hate, being forced by your supervisor or CVS? In the former
case, I sympathize with you; in the latter case, it's always refreshing
to run across a new user with such an open mind.

What documentation are you reading? Your quotes don't seem to quite
match any document I'm familiar with. I suggest you start with the CVS
Documentation page:
<http://www.cvshome.org/docs/>
and follow the "Learning how to use CVS" links; particularly the first
three.

That implies that you already have a MyModule in your current directory,
but it's a regular file rather than a directory.
