RE: cvs should ignore certain directories

I take it that you are working from the command line. There are clients that
honour the ".cvsignore" file, such as WinCVS that are thus excellent for
checkins as well -- it can show all files recursively that needs checking in
for instance.

My guess is that there are other clients for other OS's that will provide
the same functionallity, though I would not bet my life on it... :-)
