CVS revisions

Hello, 
I have a situation where I need to find out if the new tag has an older
revision file tagged. 

For eg. Currently we are at 3.80 tag and I need to know if there are any
files in the repository that have a newer version tagged 3.79
Is there a script out there that will compare the revisions between two
tags.
