What do you mean? Can I put an entry like
commit -f *.bft

That is what I'm looking for actually.

try a
cvs commit -f  <file>
    -f          Force the file to be committed; disables recursion.

Maybe you can use a default entry for commit option in .cvsrc :
commit -f
