binary files and branches

Hello,

I have created two branches of a module/project that contains text scripts and 
binary database files.  The scripts are executed anually in a sandbox and 
affect the binary database files.  The imported main module will not be used; 
only the branches.  I have noticed that the binary files of both branches are 
in Attic/*.DB,v.  Apparantly, the same file contains both binary images.  It 
would be nice to be able to revert to a previous years file but anual 
replacement would be okay too but with two branches.  I am open to suggestions 
at to better solutions for maintaining my binary files as cvs is probably not 
the best tool.
