moving tags

hi all,

more a question -- when i do "cvs rtag -rEXISTING TAG project" and the tag
"TAG" exists, i get a warning message for only 2 of the files in the module,
which were recently added.

if it just gave a warning for 1 file, that would suggest that it failed on
the first and gave up, which is fine. Giving only 2 warnings suggests to me
that most of the files were successfully retagged (which shouldn't be?)

W proj/Release.bat : TAG1 already exists on version 1.1.2.3 : NOT MOV
ING tag to version 1.1.2.4
W proj/utils/stkdir.exe : TAG1 already exists on version 1.1.2.1 : NO
T MOVING tag to version 1.1.2.2

could anyone explain why 2 messages and not more or less appear when doing
this?
