open source bitkeeper

HI,

    Few days back there was a large debate as  the linux code is maintained on a

propritory bitkeeper.And Linus mention the need of the opne source software which

has the additional features of the bitkeeper over the CVS.

I want to know whether there are ongoing efforts for the same.

Our team is looking forward to work on this.

I want to know the remarks and suggestions.
