somethings wrong with my file

Hallo Everybody!

This is my first posting to the list so I'm sorry if I'm wrong.

I use cvs version 1.11.2 (#cvs --version)
I'm commiting a xsl file to the repository and no errors occour. When I look 
at the new generated file in the repository everything is fine.

When I do a checkout, something goes wrong! I get an older version of the file 
but the cvs says its up to date.

Here is the line.

Letzte Änderung: $Date: <xsl:value-of select="//content/@@date" /> $

This is from the .v file of the repository. On a checkout I allways get this 
line with a Date inserted insted of the xsl tag.

How can I prevent this behaviour? Is there a commandline option?
