Hi 
Well I do have a query of deletion / removing the branch created which has
no further revisions / tags on it.
I was unable to remove the tag with the option ..

What exactly do you mean by "delete"?  You can remove the branch *tag*
with tag -d.  If you really want to remove all the revisions on the
branch, there's no easy way to do that.
