Hello,
I had the problem you discribe by myself.
According to my findings there are at least three possibilities:
a) a script in CVS distribution (/usr/local/cvs-1.11.6/contrib):
cvs_acls A perl script that implements Access Control Lists
by using the "commitinfo" hook provided with the
"cvs commit" command.
Contributed by David G. Grubbs <address@hidden>.
b) a SourceForge net project (don't know name) which implements CVS acl's
by adding two extra cvs commands;
unfortunately the commands are not supported by CVS clients;
c) a script called in commitinfo; I have chosen this solution as it gives
full control and is most flexible.

Jacek

Hi All
This has reference to configure acl's for CVS, where we need to define
"UseCVSGroups=Yes/No". If yes it would check for the groups in file
CVSROOT/group.
Is it possible to create / define groups in the CVSROOT or say like a file
"group" - in which we can create groups for CVS users... like a pool of
cvsusers mapped to a system user .. or may something else..
Also I would like to know if this has been tried by anyone . or can have
some comments on it.
Regards
Gurpreet S
