bochs help

Hello everyone,

 

    I am trying to download bochs. This is my first time using bochs. So I don't know the first thing to do in order to be able to run it. I asked someone for a unix platform and they directed me to bochs. I would like to run it so I can learn a unix platform, because I am trying to learn the program Python and would like to run it out of bochs. Can someone please help. IT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

P.S. I am running windows xp home edition.
