CVS installation and setup

Hi,

I think I mentioned previously that I inherited CVS already setup, and we
are now in the process of moving it to another server (need a bigger disk),
and neither the UNIX admin or I are that familiar with CVS - I've been using
it for a year now, and have become the team's "guru".  Yes, everyone can run
away scared now :)

So, my question is, is there a dummy's guide for installing and setting up
CVS, with a list of all the Is we have to dot, and Ts we have to cross?  The
UNIX admin prefers to use the binary from www.sunfreeware.com, so this will
be CVS version 1.11.5.
