Not much, admittedly. The point is that they don't compile, and I want to get
to the point where files not compiling in a release is some sort of danger
signal (!)
We're in the middle of a system test right now, and I'm removing the dead code.
But inevitably there are some programs which aren't obviously dead but won't
compile either. We'll have to hand those back to the developers and hope they
can tell us...
