Just wanted a bit of information  from your side regarding locking mechanism
in CVS. Hey I am using Wincvs on XP client with  CVS server running on Linux
6.2.

Can you help me out using the locking mechanism in CVS.Actually I want to
know that when one developer is working on an application then no other
developer be able to check out the file in write mode. Also I want the
addition/ deletion of files in repository to be rights protected.

Would require a bit of your knowledge sharing.
