Carriage Return vs. Newline in CVS

Hello,

I can not seem to find any way to tell cvs to use a different EOL delimiter when diffing/merging? One project of mine uses <CR> (0x0d) the EOL mark, and thus any change in the files immediate causes a merge conflict (to cvs, the files consist of a single line)

I searched the documentation, but could not find any info on this topic. Links or hints would be greatly appreciated!

Alex
