   That's because there is no single command to do that. You need to add an
   entry to the CVSROOT/modules file, then create the corresponding directory
   in the repository and check it out. From there, you use 'cvs add'.

I suppose I could always do something like

  % cvs im -I'*' -I'.*' -m '' Foo x xx

Surprisingly enough (to me at least), if I do this, then afterwards
CVS doesn't even recognize the vendor tag:

  % cvs co -d . -r x Foo
  cvs [checkout aborted]: no such tag x

   Wouldn't it just be easier to look at the "sticky tags" field of the status
