Data integrity, mostly. Like everyone else, we've had the odd hardware
failures. I figure heating up the machine with some load of real-life
[cvs] activity will highlight first order issues, which may not be related
to CVS at all btw, but more importantly we want to reduce our stress level
with this new machine before putting it in service.

A script would not be hard to write. A good script with enough random
decisions about which command to run would be harder to write.

I was just looking for an existing solution before coming up with my own.

Cheers!
Martin
