I know. Unfortunately it's pasted on by the company mailer, nothing I 
can do about it. I'd email the CIO and tell him he's stupid but I don't 
think that would help my career ;)

I dream of the day I can do that. We're firewalled to the teeth here and 
there's no way the company will let me use an external mail account from 
the office :(

Sorry to hear that. I wish there was something I could do about it, I 
really do. I find the disclaimer stupid and meaningless (and it probably 
doesn't have any legal standing) but there really is nothing I can do 
about it.

I could start posting from google groups, but that's not an email account :(
