Run "cvs status <some-file-or-other>" and look for any "sticky tag"
listed in the output.  If your sandbox is on the branch, you'll see
your branch name there.  If you're on the trunk, it will be empty.

Of course that only checks the one file, not the entire sandbox,
but if you only tag and branch entire projects it's a good
sanity check.

(This assumes that you have cvs or cvsnt installed somewhere
on your path as "cvs.exe'.)
