Derek,

reading your reply now with a fresh head makes so much more sense, which
my reply doesn't .. oh well, I'll try again =)

I'm using ssh for connection using
export CVS_RSH=ssh
and
cvs -d:ext:<developer>@<server>:/<repository>

Of course, on the CLIENT HOME, the .ssh file is needed.
What I was wondering about is what the users HOME on the SERVER is used.
Nothing, I presume?


I had a problem with the cvs client in Eclipse. For some reason, it needs
the SERVER HOME for some reason I'm not going to ask you guys since it's
all Eclipse specific.
