can you define a system user if you are doing ldap authentication

Dear cvs people,

I am new to this list. Was wondering if there was some way to define a 
system user (like in the CVSROOT/passwd file) if you are doing 
authentication with ldap through the --enable-pam feature of cvs 1.12.11.
