I've set up a repository on my Linux co-lo and have sandboxes on it and my
development Mac. This is for a website, and I'm using MySQL and a middleware
program called Lasso.
On the Mac, the sandbox files have owner/group of roddie/admin, and both CVS
and Lasso seem happy with that. But on the co-lo, CVS makes them root/root
which Lasso doesn't like. I changed all to lasso/apache and Lasso runs, but
now CVS can't write to CVS/Entries.Log.
I don't want to have to keep fiddling with permissions. Is there a setting I
can use that will keep Lasso and CVS happy?
Thanks
Roddie Grant
