Hello
being very new to CVS, I read chapter 1 of
OSDevWithCVS_3.pdf and being fascinated by the FSF
history, I just want to thank all those who made this
possible, couple of questions pop up:
if there are more Source Control Systems out there, do
I have to look for the one which controls the package
I need to download 'check-out' as a user?
coming here for basicly downloading and using the
latest version of emacs, I came to understand lot more
than I expected.
PCL-CVS is already installed on my Debian testing
system. do I need to download and install CVS from you
site in-order to avoid any future problems in usage,
after all those little problems are the motive behind
me trying to get the latest emacs.
Debian also CVS 1:1.12.9-14, do I go for this?
thanks
