Problem with binary files.

I seem to have a bunch of files in my world-famous inherited repository 
with -kb in the Entries files. Not all of the files with the same 
extension have it. I see how to *make* something be binary using admin -kb 
but what I want is the reverse so that they will no longer be treated as 
binary. Any joy?
