Hi all,

I've got a Windows XP Home computer acting as a CVS server with a
repository set up, and CVSNT running. I am able to check out modules
locally. However, when I try to check out from another client, it gives
me an error:

C:\Documents and Settings\MSarwari>cvs -d :sspi:192.168.252.37:/cvsrepo
checkout -c

cvs [server aborted]: can't create temporary directory C:\WINDOWS

I'm able to login with the following:

C:\Documents and Settings\MSarwari>cvs -z9 -d :sspi:cvsadmin@
192.168.252.37:/cvs
repo login
Logging in to :sspi:address@hidden:2401:/cvsrepo

"cvsadmin" is an administrative account on the server. I've given
permissions to the \WINDOWS\TEMP folder for the user on the client.
Also, I tried to set the temp folder under the "server settings" tab in
the CVSNT control panel to another folder, c:\cvstemp, but it won't
take.

hey,

Did you give the permissions to the user on the folder /cvsrepo.Checkout the permissions on the folder for the user.
