That is normal behaviour. 'cvs remove' never physically deletes a file
from the repository, it simply marks it as 'dead' and moves the file
into the Attic subdirectory. The reason for this is simple: the
repository file must be available if you want to re-create a snapshot of
your source code before 'cvs remove'.
