Correct.

The Unix binaries shouldn't need any libraries other than the standard
system libraries.  Backing up your repository is always a good idea,
just in case.  You should also run "cvs init" on your repository after
upgrading to give the new version a chance to create any new
administrative files and make any necessary changes to the repository,
should there be any (historically, there have been new administrative
files, but there has never been any need to make changes to the
repository).
