If you aren't going to read the manual, don't bother trying to use
CVS.  Whatever it is you want to do with version control will
absolutely require reading the manual.

Seriously, if you aren't willing to spend a half-hour trying to make
secure login work, why would you expect anyone to spend a half-hour
writing up instructions for you?

Here's an offer, now that I think about it.  My company charges
$300/hr for my consulting services.  I'll book you an hour at that
rate to answer your question, in writing and in detail.  With a "free"
followup telephone call to make sure you get it properly implemented.
