So let me rephrase this to see if I understand what you want. When you
check out Module1, you want to see:

Module1
  \Shared

when you check out Module2, you want

Module2
  \Shared

If that's what you want, then it's quite easy to do using ampersand
modules (http://ximbiot.com/cvs/manual/cvs-1.11.21/cvs_18.html#SEC162)

If that's not what you want, could you please elaborate?
