This seems like a really simple question, but I haven't found it in
the FAQ or Cederqvist. And a co-worker has borrowed all my CVS books.
Say you have local changes on a file, and you want to revert to the
current repository version. I know a one-line way to do that:
cvs update -p foobar > foobar
But I was wondering if there is a way to do it using the -j argument,
something like
cvs update -j <current uncommitted state> -j HEAD foobar
(assuming I'm on the trunk). But I don't know a tag for the current
uncommitted state.
So is that possible, or is my -p method the most concise way possible?
