Hi,
i don't know if the question makes sense, but I'd like CVS users being
authenticated by the system, while all the CVS commands be run as a
specific user. I tried with a passwd file like the following (provided
SystemAuth=yes in config)
set SystemAuth=no
user1::cvsuser
set passwd file to -
user X:passwd:cvsuser
You can get the passwd from /etc/passwd, NIS etc
user2::cvsuser
user3::cvsuser
but now every user can login without providing a password. So, is there
a way to combine the system authentication with the CVS command
aliasing mechanism?
thanks
